Excellent tablet with Windows 11 operating system.
Supported by a good processor, the Intel i5-10210Y and with a large high resolution display.
I would say a good product with an excellent quality/price ratio.

2024 version is a Downgrade

It seems that the 2024 version is not anymore surface pro alternative. UBook X 2024 supports Hipen H8 only.
H8 (not MPP protocol) has only the touch function and doesn't have the features that H7 has. All attributes of h6 or h7 pen and screen protocol are gone. As a touch screen is fine. Lack of description and no answer from the help center about the differences make me believe that 2024 version is a serious downgrade for ubook. I have not decided to keep it or not as I bought it for drawing.

Reallh good for the price

It may be not as fast as even older Surface Pros, mainly because of the slower DDR3 but it's king of price/performance in my opinion, for office use and light gaming it's super competent and has good battery life.

Older games that don't rely on continuously streaming textures from storage to system RAM run fairly well (Ultra street fighter 4 / MvsC3 run at slightly higher than 720p@60fps no problem for hours), browsing internet with many tabs, pdf reading and light 2d CAD are easily done simultaneously without hiccups.

Construction is solid, except for the frame that goes around it, the entire chassis is made of metal (even the kickstand, some reviewers told it was plastic but they're totally wrong).

Display is very sharp and, maybe I wouodn't use it under direct sunlight in sunny days but it's plenty bright for indoor use and has good colors, maybe not accurate enough for professional use but it's pleasant to the eye nonetheless.

The keyboard is kinda flexy if used in the slanted position and pressing hard on the keys but still very usuable, if it bothers you it can still be used completely flat. It's comfortable for the size (I got average sized hands) and the touchpad is responsive even when using multiple fingers for gestures.

Also has USB C charging, you don't need to use the included adapter with jack connection, just be sure to use a USB Power Delivery compliant charger capable of 12v/15v 3A output.

Don't own the pen so I can't comment on that, the touch is precise and responsive though.

For so few and minsucle nitpicks, I don't feel one can really complain at this price for a new product.
